“Standing Up” is a short film written by Dan Gorham which he co-produced and directed with Brian Gravel of DivergingSoul. The film was an Official Selection of the 2013 Boston International Film Festival, and screened at the Loews Theatre/AMC Boston Common.
The script won the Third Prize at the Las Vegas Short Script Awards (now Vegas CineFest), as well as being a semi-finalist at both The Movie Deal Screenplay Contest and The Golden Brad Awards, and 1st & 2nd round qualifier at the American Gem Literary Festival. It stars Randy Marquis (Ghosts, The Death of Abraham Lincoln), Zele Avradopoulos (Paul Blart: Mall Cop) and Ted Arcidi (The Town, The Fighter, Nurse Jackie, 30 Rock). Score by Donald R. Patten.
